About David Hastings

I was born in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire and I have lived in the area all of my life, except for a short time when I lived and worked in the USA. I have worked in the building trade, private security and law enforcement. I have been a professional photographer for over 10 years before becoming a hypnotherapist and opening Warwick Hypnosis.

In the 1980's I was introduced to Acupuncture by my martial arts instructor and to Shiatsu by a fellow student who would later become my acupuncturist and shiatsu teacher.

It was in the early 1990's that I was introduced to NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and did some training with a noted trainer in the Bristol area and in 2006 I was introduced to EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) shortly after, I trained as a Practitioner and then went on to become an Advanced Practitioner of EFT.

My interest in NLP grew even more while I was working with clients during EFT sessions as did my interest in Hypnotherapy. In 2007 I made the decision to study hypnotherapy in greater depth and gained a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy and continued to study and expand my knowledge and experience. However, I has put it there to show you and other prospective clients that he am serious about helping you by developing my self.

I have professional indemnity insurance for all client sessions and I am a Registered Hypnotherapist with The General Hypnotherapy Register, The General Hypnotherapy Standards Council and The Federation of Holistic Therapists.

In addition to being a registered hypnotherapist with these bodies I am also registered with them for other therapies as listed on their websites and as shown above. I hold a current First Aid certificate and I have completed a Standard Child Safeguarding Course valid until: January 2020.
